About the author
Giuseppe Garufi is an accomplished debut author who was born in Santa Teresa di Riva, Sicily. He eventually relocated to Venezuela, where he spent ten years before permanently settling in Florida. Motivated by his enduring curiosity, rich cultural background, and fascination with the enigmas that shape human perception, Garufi weaves narratives that resonate with both the heart and the mind. His goal is to create narratives that not only entertain but also challenge assumptions, encouraging contemplation on themes of identity, purpose, and the invisible connections that may link us across time and space. Similar to Garufi, his main character is born in Santa Teresa di Riva and later moves to the United States, where he seeks higher education and ultimately becomes a university professor and a member of NASA.
About the book
The Meeting is far more than a typical “first contact” story. It’s a thought-provoking exploration of existence, belief, consciousness, and the delicate boundary between what humans assume is possible and what may actually be true. In this immersive narrative, Giuseppe Garufi weaves together personal insight, real-world inspiration, and fiction to create a story that feels unsettlingly believable.
It all begins when an unexplained object falls from the sky and is quietly moved to a top-secret military site known as Area-63. Inside the recovered craft, officials discover a being who looks human, speaks calmly, and carries himself with an ageless serenity. He introduces himself simply as Samuel. In response, the U.S. government brings together an elite team of scientists, theologians, and scholars tasked with understanding what Samuel is and why he has arrived. Among them is Professor Alessandro Raimondi, an Italian-born quantum physicist driven by a lifelong obsession with the unseen forces that shape reality.
Rather than reacting with panic, Raimondi approaches Samuel with fascination and quiet respect, sensing that this encounter may challenge everything humanity believes about life, creation, and purpose. Through a series of tightly monitored, confidential sessions, Samuel begins to reveal answers, subtle at first, then increasingly profound. Each conversation pushes the group further beyond the limits of conventional understanding. And for Raimondi, what starts as curiosity becomes transformation, as he begins to realize the universe may be far stranger, and far more meaningful, than anyone ever imagined.
About the website
Not every website is designed for the same purpose. In this case, our team had the mission of creating a new website for The Meeting, one that accurately represents the book, the author, and the feel of the story beyond just words. We began the process by distinguishing that a website for a book is fundamentally different from a website for a business because its primary purpose is storytelling and emotional engagement, not selling a service.
In this case, the author wanted something that would immerse the visitor in a world, introduce a concept, and spark curiosity. Instead of focusing on features, pricing, or service details, it focuses on atmosphere, theme, and narrative tension. The site communicates mood, genre, and the unique hook of the book in just a few seconds, using visuals, strong copy, and a clear sense of identity that matches the author’s voice.
Designing a website for The Meeting was an exciting opportunity to translate a powerful story into a digital experience that feels just as immersive as the book itself. As a digital marketing agency Miami authors and businesses can rely on for strategy, web design, and storytelling-driven branding, we love building websites that don’t just look beautiful but also communicate meaning and inspire action. Whether you’re launching a book, building a personal brand, or creating a full online presence, we’re here to design a website that reflects your vision and connects with your audience!
