Google’s Changes to AdWords Signal that the Mobile Advertising is Here to Stay

Readers of this blog will know that we continually stress the importance of making sure your site looks good on mobile devices. After all, most people do their Web surfing on iPads, iPhones, Androids, etc., and that trend is showing no sign of slowing down especially when it comes to Mobile Advertising.

For further proof, check out this news via Google. Google makes its money through online advertising – they take a cut every time a user clicks on an advertiser’s ad. The problem is that they’re making a lot less money on PC clicks because more users are going mobile.

As a result, they’re tweaking their AdWords program to essentially force advertisers to market their products on mobile devices. In other words, they’re dragging advertisers to the mobile world, whether they like it or not.
